On the whole, the renovations is considered smooth i guess, just need to be flexible when it comes to all these contractors/direct suppliers. Some things you may have already wanted it to be this way, but cannot because of certain factors, you need to be flexi and fast enough to make changes. There are also times when the contractor says things cannot be done a certain way, you can't be that quick to accept especially when it's illogical or especially if it's "for your benefit" that they don't do it that way.
All in all, communication is key to a good renovation and i'm quite glad my contractor has been responsive and responsible (most of the time).
Moving in is another bitchy problem. Cuz we're not engaging any movers since we stay so near, thus just gonna move in little by little via our car. But damn, i didn't know our things can be so bloody much and heavy.
Enough said, some photo updates~
TV and sound system (Focal Dimensions, special mention cuz it's ex.. tmd..)
Commune leather sofa (special mention again... cuz you know.. ex.)
I'm loving my living room area so far cuz it's one of the few rooms that is already fully functional.
My ikea track lights and shoe cabinet and mirror. The door has been painted with chalkboard paint~
My cute kitchen
MBR, looks fine without the platform huh? And that sheep came along with the Serta bed. I don't know where i show throw/donate it to... tsk.
Humongous platform view with my pretty light~
Forgot to mention that dryer has been installed (esp after the piping has been rectified for the water heater...), as is the washer on the opposite side. I have to say these are one of my better purchases. The panasonic washer is really quiet during use, and this gas dryer, really really dries off your clothes well. No moisture left and smells of the sun~ I kid you not. It's a good thing since the service yard literally has no sunlight shining in and the dude is obsessive with sunning his clothes and cushions/pillows.
Just painted my common room the other day like an obsessive artist trapped in the room till my work of art is done. Whilst it's not really a PERFECT work of art, i'm just mostly glad i got rid of the blue color on the wall cuz it simply doesn't fit the theme of the whole house.
Still awaiting dining table and cabinets to arrive...
